Ricardo Seneca Torres, better known to his family as Ricky, was born to Rudy and Barbi on September 10, 1998 at Mills Peninsula Hospital in San Mateo County. As a young child, Ricky attended Menlo Children’s Center and was considered a sweet natured boy. He went on to attend Kindergarten thru 8th grade at Nativity Catholic School.
After graduating from Nativity, Ricky attended Menlo Atherton (MA) High School and joined the Computer Academy, where he was part of yet another family, where he was encouraged to learn and grow, not only academically but as a person too. Ricky spent a summer working side by side with his father at the Menlo Park Fire Department. From there he went onto the College of San Mateo and shortly afterwards, Ricky was accepted into the South Bay Fire Academy and spent the last few months working towards a career as a Firefighter.
Ricky was a hard worker who was polite, kind to others and well respected. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be truly missed. We will forever cherish the beautiful memories we have of him; he will forever be in our hearts.
